1 bar of ivory soap; or 1 cup grated soap ( the kind from Montessori soap grating exercise) 1 cup Borax 1 cup Washing Soda Grate the soap into a bowl. Add the Borax and the washing soda. Mix with a wooden spoon until a fine power forms. Pour the powder into a container. Use 1 tablespoon per medium load of laundry.
